Muslimaat exists to ensure no new Muslim sister walks her journey alone — grounded in faith, guided by love and built on community.
Supporting every sister on her journey into Islam
Muslimaat was founded with one purpose: to make sure every woman who embraces Islam in Sheffield has somewhere warm, safe and supportive to turn. We provide free mentoring, workshops and community connection — because every new Muslim deserves to feel at home in her faith.

The difference we've made together
How Muslimaat began
From a small circle of sisters sharing tea and questions, to a thriving community supporting new Muslims across Sheffield.
A small circle of sisters
Muslimaat began as an informal gathering in Sheffield — a handful of sisters coming together over tea to share their journeys to Islam. What started as friendship quickly grew into something much more powerful.
Founder Reanne had taken her Shahada and found herself wishing she had someone to guide her through the early days. So she became that person for others.
Our first workshops and events
Word spread quickly. More sisters started reaching out — some brand new to Islam, others exploring the faith for the first time. We launched our first official prayer workshops and drop-in sessions in Sheffield.

Muslimaat becomes a registered organisation
After supporting dozens of sisters, Muslimaat became an officially registered organisation — giving us the structure to reach more women, run more events and provide even better support across Sheffield and beyond.
